365 Cards - Day 105 - Sing along Saturday

This is my second post tonight as I have finally caught up with the challenges over at 365 Cards.

Today's challenge was to let the song Rainbow Connection by Jason Mraz inspire your card, ok so I like these challenges and Pam kindly put a Play list thingy on the blog for us but I have no sound on my PC at the minute so I had to Google the lyrics to see what the song was about.

Rainbows!!!

So here is my card

A simple card with the colours of a Rainbow in Buttons, Ribbons and Brads with a sentiment in the centre that reads-

The work will wait while you show a Child a rainbow, but the Rainbow wont wait while you do the work.

Next week is Cosmo Cricket week and I am really looking forward to that.

Well I am off to go watch some tv or maybe even go to bed and hope I feel a bit better tomorrow.

Maz, I absolutely love your card today and the verse is great.
Sorry to hear you too are not feeling well. Take care drink some hot tea with lemon and honey.

Looks like we are both excited about the Cosmo Cricket week. I bought more paper today just so I will have their papers to work with.

Hey Maz...I'm back. Thanks for your encouraging words for me. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a better, brighter and much craftier day! Hey, can you do me a favor? I have a friend that has just started a blog. She's been scrapping for a few years, but has just started the blogging thing. I'm trying to encourage her to blog more and participate in some challenges. She has a LO posted, so could you stop in and leave her a little note? I'd really appreciate it. Her blog addy is:

What a pretty and colourful card. You've done a fab job with it.

I too Googled the lyrics as I'd never heard of the song!

Hope you feel better soon, I'm on day 10 of a cold and it's still not gone :(
