365 Cards - Day 80 - You're so Plaid and Papertake Weekly #15

I am already behind with my challenges this week and it is only Wednesday, I wanted to get so much done yesterday but in the end I got nothing crafty made at all but I did manage to achieve something !
I went from this; which is a picture of my ribbon box tipped out on the floor which I normally have to do to find the bit I am looking for

To this

All neatly stored away in cookie jars I bought from Tesco for 94p each, a real bargain only; I have already bought 5 and will need at least another 11 as I want to use them for my flowers as well.

With the help of my Daughter Sarah we have completely transformed my office/craft room which was needed after a small shopping trip to the range yesterday where I bought a few bits then couldn't find anywhere to put them when I got home so that is why I didn't get anything made yesterday.

So this is the card for yesterday's challenge over at 365 Cards which is all about plaid. Whether you use plaid patterned paper or whether you create a plaid pattern on your card, make sure plaid is involved.

I used this sketch from Papertake Weekly challenge #15 which was by Dawny P

and came up with this card for both challenges

This is going to be for my Son's Brother In Law as they play Golf together every weekend if they get the chance and he has a birthday coming up.
The card was cut from Mocha Bazzill and the papers were from my scrap box so I don't know who made them, the image is Digital from Digi Stamp Boutique and is called Jim 'Just Chillin'. The golf Club is hung from a red paperclip, not sure where that is from either but it is amazing what you find you have when you have a sort out.
Well off to work today but I will be back later with Wednesdays card I hope!

I got some similar cookie jars from Asda and they ran out and have never had the again. I have loads of my Prima flowers in them and they look so pretty, and you can get your hand in to have a good rummage round.

Well done on sorting out your ribbons, you've done a good job and I'm sure you'll find it much easier to find what you want now.

Great card and love that golf club. Wicked idea to attach with a paperclip xxx

Nothing like a good sorting out to get the creative mojo juice flowing. I constantly have to re-organise my craft room. Lovely card and luv the image that you used!

Great take on the challenge Maz. I love the golf club embellishment... fab. The ribbons look great in jars don't they? I have bought two jars like the ones you have there and I would say I need many more as I want to do like you want to do and put your flowers in them.
