Well what a hectic but thoroughly enjoyable weekend that was, I was so tired last night I couldn't even think straight but I am rested now and onto the next project.
My card for this morning is for a few challenges but it is also an order, who would have thought I was going to get orders for cards when I didn't even make them a few moths ago but this weekend I have got orders for 4 cards so I must be doing something right.
The first challenge as always is for 365 Cards and today it is Musical Monday, quite an easy challenge but needed after last week, here is what we have to include
Use a sheet of music, "musical" paper, or music notes on the card.
The next challenge is for Card Patterns, I saw this one on Diana's blog and went to have a look, it was a sketch I could use for today's card so I went with it
Here is the sketch
Ok, on to the next challenge which is a colour challenge on Colour Create, I love these colour challenges as they really get you thinking. This weeks colours are Blue and Green and this is the photo for inspiration
and lastly the challenge on Pink Elephant wants us to use-
Light Blue, Medium or Dark Blue, Green and White so a similar one to Colour Create which works for me.
So after all that here is my card
I have used the colours for both Colour Create and the Pink Elephant, I have used the sketch from Card Patterns and I have used Music from 365 Cards and I have a card that I had an order for, rather a good morning so far!
I used Bazzill Artic for the card base, added a mat of pale blue and cut squares of the green to mat onto the blue - sorry I don't know who made either of these papers as they have no strip left.
Onto the green squares I have adhered squares of sheet music which is from the song Endless Love by Lionel Richie. A scalloped border in green along the bottom is finished off with White ribbon and onto that a length of Blue ribbon, I have added a layered flower with a beautiful button and a musical note stitched onto it, I have finished with the name of the song matted onto a piece of Artic Bazzill as a sentiment.
Off to get my other one done so should be back later, hope you like it!
