365 Cards - Day 67 and Raspberry Ribbons

I wanted to get my card done this morning before I went to work but I just didn't have time and now I am glad I didn't. Whilst at work my Niece Kayleigh came in to see me to tell me that she and her Boyfriend had set the date for their wedding. I am so happy for them!

So you can see that now I have a great reason for making a card today, whilst chatting to her she told me she wants me to make all her wedding stationary and design and make her wedding flowers, the wedding isn't until August 2010 so I have a little time to come up with some ideas.

Anyway onto today's card then, the challenge at 365 Cards today was 'Think Pink', it is Pam's favourite colour so she just wants to see a whole lot of Pink on our cards.

While thinking of a design for this card I happened across a blog I haven't visited before called Raspberry Ribbons where I found this sketch

I liked the look of the sketch so I used it to make today's card and here it is

I promise you that this card is Pink, I have taken about 6 photo's of this but the light will not let me show it in it's true colours so unfortunately you will have to take my word for it being the right colour, maybe get a better shot tomorrow in daylight.
A simple but elegant design with the sentiment taking centre stage, just as it should be!

Only a quick post tonight as I am not really feeling too good so I am off to my bed, hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by!
