Ok there is a little tale to this card and a lot of Blog Hopping as well!!
Today's challenge on 365 cards is to make a matchbook card so for once I decided to have a look at some of the cards already posted to see what sort of things people were doing for this and also to get an idea of sizes etc..
Well I just happened to look at Pam's blog first and she has posted to say that she has combined her card with another challenge on a blog called Use It!
So off I go to have a look at this blog and the challenge on there is this set by Regan-
1.Go out of your comfort zone, for me is it “guy cards” ,
eeek they scare me to be honest.
2.Use something you’ve been hoarding for a while.
3.Use some of your new favourite things..paper, embellishments whatever
4. Heat Embossing
Well I couldnt resisit another challenge so like Pam I decided to combine the 2 challenges and here is my card
Ok for the Use It! challenge
1. I struggle to make cards for pre-teenage boys, cant use anything to babyish or too grown up
2. The Harley is a Jollees sticker I bought about 4 years ago and my Grandson has always loved it so this card is for his birthday, he will be 11. I have also used a chain I have had in my office for about a year knowing it would be useful one day.
3. The Pale Grey card on the front is new, it has a really great texture which in places looks like leather.
4. Heat embossing- I cut the word Ride with my Cricut and then heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.
I think that this card qualifies for both challenges dont you?

Great card!! Love the idea of using up old stuff, what a great way to use an old Jolee sticker! I am way impressed by your "manly" card, I can't do "manly".
I'd agree that you covered both challenges! Great card - not only for the design and execution but you made a cool looking man's card and you used something from your stash. How cool is that?
fantastic card, cards for the male sex is sooooo hard, good job
Wonderful card. Love it. That chain is off the hook. My hubby would love this card. I think that an 11 year old will go nuts for it.
Nice card Maz and Ryan should love it.
