Cute Card Thursday - Challenge #51 - Celebration

'Happy Birthday Cute Card Thursday' They celebrate being 1 year old this week, so Congratulations to everyone involved.

The theme this week as you may have guessed is 'Celebration' and this is nicely timed for me as its my daughters birthday on the 23rd so I needed to make her a card anyway, I wanted something a bit her and a bit different as she is 30 this year.

This is the sketch we had to follow-

and here is my card

I always admire cards that have white space on them and want to use white more in my card making as I think it can make a card look so elegant.

The papers and the image on my card are both from Pink Petticoat, the cake is coloured using glitter pens although I am not sure you will see that in the photo, the circles I have designed myself using my trusty label programme, the large one has been cut with my nesties and the small one with a 2" circle punch.

Hope you like it!
